The Kingsclere meet is generously hosted by the Balding family at Park House. This is located just out of the village on the B 3051, Kingsclere to Overton road and is well signed. Parking is off the road, down the avenue on the Park House side or in the farmyard for big boxes (and overflow) on the other side of the road.

This is a premier meet on excellent, prepared ground. Even in some frost, the going is perfect. The lines vary but there are normally three or four, including a climb up the down. There are several different heights of jumps to chose from, giving a superb day for horses and riders of every standard of ability – small, nervous ponies to Grand National runners, seriously. In some 60 fences usually jumped in the day, there might be one upright. This is draghunting at its best and there are fantastic views to boot.
